In Memory of Maudie Hurley

The Staff and Volunteers through Of One Accord Ministry and The Shepherd's Corner in Sneedville express our deepest sympathies to Lisa Middleton and all the family and friends of Maudie Hurley.

Maudie and her brother Ike stepped in back in 1998 to manage and direct ministry for those in need in Hancock County. Through Maudie's leadership they outgrew two locations and settled in 2008 in the current location on Jail Street.

Maudie and Ike have been responsible for feeding 10's of thousands of food boxes, representing millions of pound of food, doing distributions of clothing and furniture to hundreds of families at a time, medical, dental and vision clinics, Christmas activities, Thanksgiving food distributions, and evangelistic Crusades and efforts. All this while offering clothing and other items through the store at greatly reduced prices which pay overhead and salaries providing jobs in Sneedville.

They have touched thousands upon thousands of people and many are (or will be) in heaven because of them.
