  • OCTOBER IS HUNGER MONTH
    YOU CAN HELP
    Monday Sept 13th 4pm - 7pm

    • October is the month Of One Accord ask Churches, Clubs, Businesses and Schools to help by doing food drives to restock food pantries for the holdiays.


    Some groups help by doing food drives. Some groups help by doing fundraisers that go directly towards the purchase of holiday food. Call the office 921-8044 for information on how to help



    CHRISTMAS FOR THE CHILDREN
    APPLICATIONS BEING TAKEN BEGINNING OCTOBER

    Christmas For the Children is the County-wide Christmas and Screening center so names names aren't duplicated over and over. Christmas for the Children, Patsy Hurd, begins taking country-wide applications beginning in October. Patsy also takes names from other ogranizations that help children at Christmas, thereby, creating a master list of names.

    Some Churches, clubs, and businesses ask for names off our lists to provide Christmas for needy children.

    Some groups allow us to have parties in their facilities. We purchase the gifts and prepare food boxes for the families.

    This year we lost the ladies that did the shopping for us. We need several church groups to shop for 25 children each, wrap the gifts and store them at your church until the time for the parties.

    AND CAR SHOW
    Nov 6th, Rogersville City Park

    Toy Run $10
    Leave from Big Lots Rogersville 11:45am
    Leave from Homestead Antiques Church Hill 12:30
    Arrive at Rogersville City Park Approx 2pm

    Car Show
    Drive in and Register 12 noon - 1pm
    Cars on Display 1pm until motorcycles arrive

    Free Food and Concert - Exit 33 2pm-2:45
    Drawings for Door Prizes- Announce Totals for Christmas for the Children 2:45pm


    Christmas for the Children is just around the corner.
    This year we are combining again two events into one.
    We are sponsoring the Christmas for the Children Toy
    Run AND the Christmas for the Children Cruise In. Both
    events will be the same day, same time and at the same
    place.

    So, if you ride a motorcycle and want to ride with us in the
    toy run, then click on the link "TOY RUN" for all the
    information you will need.

    If you have an old car you have restored, or just one you
    would like to show then click on the link "CRUISE IN" for
    all the cruise in information.

    If you don't have a car and don't ride a motorcycle, we
    still have a place for you. Come on out and enjoy the
    cruise in and check out the cars. You can be there when
    we ride into the park on the motorcycles and check out
    the bikes also. The best Christian band we know, Exit 33,
    will be there to provide some of the best music this side
    of heaven. Most of all, you can help us raise money for
    the needy children of Hawkins and Hancock Counties.
